What is value? V = R+P/$+E

If you’re like me, you’re thinking “WHAT!!”. Your Oral and Physical Health has value and what does that mean to you? Did you know that if you maintain Optimal Oral Health, you can extend your life by 3-5 years?

What is that value worth to you when you’re able to spend more time with your family and loved ones? As your Dentist and Health Care Professional with over 33 years of experience, I value our relationship. Is that in the formula that you see above?

As I reflect on my own Oral and Physical health, I realized my healthy teeth and smile have lasted over 50 years. Even with my car accident at age 16 and having my front teeth knocked out and replaced with root canals and crowns, I can still eat and chew all my favorite foods and treats. I also had extractions, dental implants, and implant crowns to help me chew.

Because I’ve been physically active my entire life, my shoulder needed surgery, my knees are sore, I can’t sprint like before and I wear glasses. I will tell you that I value my healthy teeth and my physical ability to still do everything I enjoy. That’s priceless. I plan on living into my 90’s, being active and healthy, and eating everything I choose.

Whether you need a Hygiene dental cleaning, tooth-colored composites, porcelain Veneers, Porcelain crowns, dental implants and crowns to replace missing teeth, or dentures to replace all your teeth, having optimal oral health is invaluable.
