Do You Need Braces?
Braces are applied for several reasons, including:
- Poorly aligned jaws
- Crowded teeth
- Gaps between teeth
- Turned teeth
If you or your child needs braces, you want the experience to be as pleasant as possible – and within your budget. We have a different kind of dental office – in fact, it doesn’t look or feel like a dental office, but a place of comfort and warmth where children feel nurtured and cared for throughout treatment.
Metal Braces or Ceramic Braces in Colorado Springs?
At Hill Dentistry, we offer both metal and ceramic braces based on your preference and what will be most effective. Metal braces are more traditional but have come a long way in recent years. They are now smaller, thinner, and far more comfortable. Metal braces have become super-durable and can be customized with colors if you want to make a fashion statement.
Ceramic braces are made of a transparent material and are less visible. They can be either clear or colored to match your teeth. Ceramic braces are usually placed on the upper teeth, with standard metal braces on the bottom.
If something goes wrong with your braces, you need it resolved right away! At Hill Dentistry, we provide emergency orthodontic care to resolve any of the following:
- Loose braces
- Loose bracket
- Loose wire
- Protruding wire
- Swollen or infected gums
- Food caught between teeth
- Irritation of lips or cheeks
- Mouth sores
